I wanted to write a blog post which would give my current and prospective clients a bit more information on how I am going to be running my business whilst we still have a few Covid restrictions in place.

Like everyone else, I have adapted things and wanted to reassure you of how I plan to keep my clients safe whilst they are working with me. The good news is that this is pretty easy to do and does not really interfere at all with the actual session.

Personal Shopping

Having been into the shops now both locally and London a few times I thought it would be helpful to share my observations. I have very rarely had to wait outside a shop to get in and if I have it has not been for more than 5 mins. Most shops have some changing rooms in use. Masks are totally fine and very easy to get used to in my experience. They seem a bit strange at first but very quickly seem normal. In fact they are fast becoming a bit of a fashion statement in themselves!! The shops are pretty empty as not as many people are shopping and in London there are no tourists. This is a total silver lining to a personal shop right now, and never will we have most shops to ourselves again! Supporting the high street and retail in general is pretty important for the economy. All shops are completely set up with the safety of their customers in mind. One way systems, hand sanitiser, some are even giving out masks.

On top of all of this I will also be taking the following measures:

  • I will be booking appointments in shops as much as I can to ensure no waiting to get in and that we have use of the facilities
  • If we are required to wait to get into any shop this will not count as session time
  • At Harvey Nichols I will have use of our very own sanitised changing room to try on clothes
  • I will maintain a safe distance at all times
  • I will carry with me gloves, face masks and hand sanitizer
  • I will see only one client a day
  • There will be a wellness check 2 days before each session to reassure you that I am fit and well and to ask you the same
  • If appointments need to be rescheduled due to health concerns I will offer dates after 14 days within a 4 week period for rebooking

Wardrobe Edits

And for wardrobe edits it is very easy for me to keep you safe with the measures Iisted below:

  • All colour drapes will be steamed between use
  • My clothing rail will be disinfected between use
  • I will maintain a safe distance at all times
  • I will carry with me gloves, face masks and hand sanitiser
  • I will see only one client a day
  • There will be a wellness check 2 days before each session to reassure you that I am fit and well and to ask you the same
  • If appointments need to be rescheduled due to health concerns I will offer dates after 14 days within a 4 week period for rebooking

I hope that helps to answer any questions you have about how my services will run for the time being, but please do get in touch if you you would like to chat about any of the above.
