Fine Styling x Me+Em

On the 12th June I hosted the very first UK stylist event with one of my all time favourite brands Me+Em. I have spent a long time building a relationship with them, and finally the right people were in the right place at the right time and it happened.

It was quite a pinch me moment, and something that I am super proud of. When you work for yourself you are your own biggest cheerleader so I am not scared to say what it meant to me to have been the very first stylist to do something like this with them.

The night was perfect as the weather was warm, (luckily the store had great air con) the June collection was amazing and I got to wear the most incredible lipstick red suit which really did pack a wow factor. To be honest that is why I picked it. Red is the colour for confidence and it is very powerful. I think that people can feel a bit intimidated to wear something like that but hopefully I was living proof that anyone can wear something like that and own it.

Once all the guests had arrived and poured a glass of champagne I did a brief presentation to talk through my edit of favourite items in store and also to acknowledge all the people who gifted some products to make up the most incredible goody bag that ended up being worth £100!

Then I was stationed pretty much the rest of the night by the changing rooms to help and advice as people tried things on. The evening few by and before I knew it, it was time to finish.

I travelled home on such a high. So lovely to see regular clients and also to meet new people as well. I plan to use the red suit again for some up coming corporate style events so this won't be the first and only time you see it.

The tickets for this event sold out very quickly so I hope this means that there will be more events to come. Make sure you follow me on Instagram @stylistfleur as this is were I tend to advertise if there is anything planned.
