Personal Brand Presentation and Colours at BNP Paribas

This week I took all my colour analysis equiptment into London on the hottest day of the year to lead a style focused team building session at BNP Paribas. I started with a presentation about personal brand, werarpy (using clothes as a tool for transformation) and colour psychology, and then with the help from my stylist assistant Krupa we undertook colour analysis for the team.

This type of corporate event using a stylist is becoming more and more popular as a way to build relationships, treat team members and do something which is a bit different, social and fun. There is no doubt that playing with colour creates a buzz and excitement especially when the team watch each other getting the colour analysis done. There is something fascinating about seeing the impact on your own skin as well as those of your friends. I think at first people don't know what to expect and then as the first person gets it done, the excitement builds.

My presentation focuses on the impact of clothes and clouds, not just on the wearer but to the people they interact with. I think it is a powerful presentation because a lot of people don't really give it a second thought and actually realise that they are missing a huge trick by not considering their style and personal brand further than the usual offie wear of a black shift dress or a grey suit.

Some feedback from the event included: Thank you so much for having us, we all had such a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the evening!! It has been the talk of our office, all our colleagues were very interested in the outcomes and yesterday none of us wore black 😲

Below is what myself and Krupa wore which I think is the perfect example of how to bring colour into a professional outfit, both by using colour blocking (me) and a tonal (Krupa) look.
